Using the corner of your filbert brush loaded with the dark green paint
and, following the illustration above, zig-zag your way down the
vertical guide as an imaginary trunk. (See red pencil guide).

loaded with lots of paint.
Always start a limb at the
center guide (trunk). Fig. 43
Build each limb outward
from the trunk area,
simultaneously working
your way down the trunk
making each limb bigger
and bigger by applying
more pressure (pushing
down harder) on the brush
as you work down. Fig. 44
Touch the edge of the knife vertically to
the canvas in the area where you want
to paint a tree. This will give you a
guide by which to build your tree.

Add as many Evergreen trees as you like. Try to make them different sizes. Repeat the same procedure on the
