Not all the clouds in your sky will need softening. Use your judgement
and soften only the ones you feel needs softening if there are clumps or
too much paint. Fig. 23
After softening the cloud bases, proceed to soften the inside of the
clouds if needed. Fig 23 & 24 shows the before and after results of
softening. The trick here is to be as gentle as possible. "whisper" into
the clouds using only a few bristles of the corner of the brush.
Remember, pretend you are dusting for fingerprints. DON'T
OVERBLEND!

Step 5: A few distant trees
Mix together black & white for light grey and yellow & blue for a light green. Fig. 26-29.

arrive at a light grey-green
